Thatcham St Mary's Juniors
Saturday morning at the Kennet Sport Hall is for Junior Badminton. There are two sessions, one for the beginners/younger players from 9.00 – 10.30am and the second session for the more experienced/older players from 10.30-12 noon.
The club caters for 8-16 year olds and provides coaching and competitive play for all. Last season was very successful with several players representing the county, entering tournaments and being part of the West Berkshire team that won the gold medal at the Thames Valley Youth Games. Several juniors are also members of senior clubs and play in the Newbury leagues.
It is always good if we have several adult helpers both to play with and oversee the juniors. Do if you are a badminton coach, leader or just a layer and are interested in helping to develop Junior badminton, please contact me.
